As farmers, we are often thankful for rain that the winter brings us. Although it has made it more difficult for visitors to come to our Tasting Room, we invite those who can to tour and taste, and revel in the anticipation that a new year brings. The vines may be asleep, but the wines, like our friendly staff, have stories to tell.
Most of our recent releases, five whites from the 2022 vintage—four dry and one sweet—and three reds from the 2021 vintage are still available. Gewürztraminer, Muscat Blanc, Pinot Gris, the value-conscious Chardonnay Table Wine and the ambrosial Cluster Select Riesling accompany two estate-grown, Gold Medal-winning Pinot Noirs, Méthode à l'Ancienne and Deep End, and an Old Vine Zinfandel. In addition, a recently disgorged sparkling wine from the 2019 vintage is selling fast, with only a few dozen cases remaining. Add at least one of the three yummy varietal grape juices to your order so everyone in your house can celebrate.
Our best wishes for the new year,
Ted Bennett and Deborah Cahn
